Many colleagues takes this good oppurnity to take take leave as Hari raya falls on Wednesday & Thursday(2 days public holiday in Malaysia) , so majority malays start to take leave from Mondays, resume work on next week tuesday, however chinese & indians also take one day leave on friday, resume work on next week - monday.

Coincidence that malay new year is our financial year end closing, so we need to close our account, but my malay colleagues need to "balik kampung" (reunion with family members in their hometown) . Many of them live in outstation, Malaysia have 14 states-Wilayah Persekutuan(kl), Selangor, Kedah ,Kelantan,Perak, Pahang, Pulau Pinang, Melaka, Johor,Sabah, Sarawak and Terengganu. My 2 colleagues hometown in Melaka & Pulau Pinang. So on 30/9/08, they already take their earliest action to back home.

But pity Mr.Chin & I have to work on the public holiday for the closing of account, but luckily just now my Japanese boss said i can off tomorrow, yeah! i thought tomorrow have to work too, so i need to rush the outstanding work for the account now. Hopefully everything go on smoothly!

Penang Island Trip

Penang famous food near to Gurney Plaza,

Penang island is alike singapore, there have many high rise building, for example condominium & apartment due to the limited of land & it was expensive.

Queensbay is a nice place to hang out, after shopping , can take a fresh breath near the beach, i can see a lot of couples near the beach.

Batu Ferringgi, many foreigner like travel to here, a lot of luxurious hotels near by the beach, this hotel is nice too, Park Royal Hotel.

historic building & symbolism of Penang Island

1st time take ferry from Butterworth to Penang island, wow~the feeling was so good!

I like it, but it was saturday afternoon & it was a little jam & crowded, so many peoples & so many cars rush to penang island .

It cost Rm 7.70 for a vehicle & Rm 1.20 for a person to take ferry fr.butterworth to Penang.

It's worthy for a car with 5 person & 6 person because they only charged for the car, person inside will not double charged again per head.

My friend prefer to take ferry because his office near to harbour & it was sometimes save money(due to increased of fuel price & it was jam along the way on penang bridge).

After the car get into the ferry, the passenger inside the car can go out from the car & hang around the ferry, the ferry have two level, upper level for passenger & lower level for vehicles.

We go to upper level for the nice sea view take some photos.It was a nice experience.

This uncle can converse in cantonese, well known cendol since i'm in primary school, still remember the time mama brought me to Pasar Pudu, we enjoy the cendol together. Delicious~

Friendship Market " 友谊商店 ", we(mama & I) use to shopping around this market when i'm small, reasonable price & with air-cond. But due to high competitive world outside, peoples use to shopping in more comfortable , brilliant shopping mall rather than this market. This market already closed down.

seem a little bit like HK "金鱼街 ". Any fish u like, you can find it here with cheap price.

This is the first time having lunch in food court - The Weld with colleagues , very clean & the price is reasonable, can consider as a high class food court after renovation. There have chicken rice corner, thai corner, claypot corner, teepayaki corner & nasi kandar...Price range from RM 6.00 & above, at top floor of The Weld. The food court also have smoking area(open area) for the smoker. After lunch, can hang out & shopping around The Weld, like Watson & Guardian also avalaible here.

Happy Birthday to "Sau lai"

A very happy birthday to Sau lai . 6/9/08 is her birthday & date to remember also as that day is our secondary school "Anggerik class" gathering. Althought is only 6 persons to attend but the situation would never boring because our member "sau lai" has too many conversation & memory to share with us, a very funny, frank & cheerful gal which i met since form 4. They are also kana(sit beside sau lai), Vanness, Yoong lee & Anie (from left to right).

Sau lai bought a cute card" best friend kiosk " to remember our gathering & attendance & we planning to have another gathering on 2/11/08 in Neway, hopefully more friends will attend & our little card will full with blessing & signatures as well. I quite awaite the day to come cos' its been long long time didn't sing k already, quite miss the times with colleage's friends who sing k along during each birthday of our members. Times really flies, few members already married & give birth to their child, so everybody is busy with their own schedules, hopefully we have a gathering for colleage friends as well.

Happy Mooncake Festival

14 Sept'08 (Sunday) - Mooncake festival

Leisure mall Cheras is organise a lantern festival & contest open to all creative people to make their extra ordinary lantern, its really nice & colorful, by using recycle papers, bottles, a creative , full of imagination home made lantern present just in front of us, i have to say : well done to your hard work & its really take time , effort & patient to finish it.

Accidentally, it's fall on sunday ,so i think is the best oppurtunity to back home for a reunion dinner with our family & friends.
