Dessert & Snack @ Japan

so many nice yummilicious foods...dessert & snack attract me....
so colorful...& I can feel that is delicous....
the last photo is "harajuku wrap"...
which I try in Pavilion shopping mall,Malaysia (same floor with GSC cinema)
....good...from RM 7.90, you can order any flavour you like...just adding RM1, you can get a scoop of ice cream( choose strawberry, chocolate or vanilla)...
but this stall seem bit quiet...erm maybe be lack of advertisement ....
In Japan, many peoples que for it...just wanna eat harajuku wrap...
I like the wrapping in Japan, the snacks & dessert will wrap nicely....
those picture taken along the way to the Japan temple in town
Standard living in Japan is high, very high expenses in Japan...
lunch is bear by yourself, normally our lunch cost us about JPY 1000

JPY 1 = RM 0.036 (exchange rate ~Jun'2010)
JPY 1000 = RM 36 (Eg : lunch)
JPY 630 = RM 22.68 (Eg : cracker ~see photo 1)
JPY 110 = RM 3.96 (Eg : soft drink from vending machine)

Vending machine

from the website >> http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2010.html

With one vending machine per an estimated 23 people (according to the Japan Vending Machine Manufacturers Association), Japan has one of the world's highest vending machine densities. Machines can be found all over cities, towns and even in the countryside. Almost none of them are vandalized or otherwise non-functional.

A majority of machines sell non-alcoholic beverages such as soft drinks, juice, vitamin or energy drinks, tea and coffee for a reasonable 110 to 120 yen. These drink machines usually offer both hot and cold beverages.

Vending machines that sell alcoholic beverages and cigarettes are also common. Many more varieties of vending machines can be found in smaller numbers. They sell goods such as ice cream, rice, disposable cameras, instant noodles and even omikuji, the small fortune telling slips of paper sold at shrines and temples.

yip, is correct~ vending machines can be found at anywhere, any places, backstreet...mainstreet...railway station....tourist place...& even my office
thats no free drink as in Malaysia...In Malaysia office, we have our own pantry...
serve free coffee, milo & mineral water but in Japan, you have to prepare small change for drink...there have any kinds of beverages, coffee, teas, soft drinks.....

this is our Japan office pantry which you can take a rest here & enjoy your drink...beside the pantry, there is a outdoor small garden for you to relax your mind..stand beside me is sheila san from Singapore
