This is the 2nd time i go to Saisaki Restaurant. Previous planning is go to Renaissance hotel for buffet dinner because our malay colleague can't eat japanese food but coincidence she is sick on that day thus our boss request for japanese restaurant, then i thought we can go to Jogoya Japanese Restaurant however i called more than 10 times, its still can't get through. Finally i get through but they said already fully booked so finally we having dinner in Saisaki restaurant.

Saisaki is good but compare with Jogoya, Jogoya is lot more foods compare with Saisaki. But as Chuan comments, Saisaki is serving more japanese food then Jogoya, Jogoya serving lot more fresh seafoods, desserts, cakes & tempura. Each restaurant have its competitive strategic package, Jogoya buffet dinner is RM 88++ but Saisaki only RM 58++ .

My boss seem love the food in Saisaki maybe this restaurant provide the localize japanese food that he had in Japan. Because i noticed he eat a lot this time, normally he eat two round already stop but this time, he had forth & fifth round.

ohhhh...it's really impressive and intersting...
At first, I have never seen Japanese cuisine encounters dragon fruit! I guess some people even don't know what the dragon fruit is. Actually I have never had it!

About mushroom soup in the 4th picture, is that really slimy and small one? If so, it's called nameko. I eat them often with miso soup or spinach.

Is it common for you guys to eat lumb? we don't usually get them.

Well, I see some resutaurants which serve 'nashigoren'. They're introduced as Indonesian cuisine or Malaysian cuisine. Regarding Chinese cuisine, it's already became our common food. Actually, my mom is good at cooking Chinese food haha.

dragon fruit is very famous in Malaysia, good for digestion & dragon fruit juice also avalaible in supermarket.

too many foods to eat so i just take a small portion for each food.

i think maybe japanese dislike spicy food,so chinese food is suit for their appetite. wow, your mum is great!

Wa! your boss still got so many budget to sponsor you all for the lovely foods after the economic recession!

Try to make your self "performing in work" in this and next year! there are lots of retrenchment out there thru out the whole world!

Do not think of changing of job this or next year as there are lots of uncertainty as well!

Good Luck!
